Did you always want to become a partner?
- During my development, it eventually became a goal to become a partner. However, the role of partner has to suit both the company and your home life. As a parent of young children, work/life balance is important to me. Presence at work and presence at home. Svensson Nøkleby has made it possible to pursue a career path from employed lawyer to partner with a healthy work/life balance.
Do you have any thoughts on what expectations you should fulfil as a modern lawyer?
- I am from Drammen, and working as a lawyer in a city and region where I have a sense of belonging and local knowledge is motivating. As one of Norway's largest law firms outside Oslo, Svensson Nøkleby offers exciting challenges and opportunities to work with different client groups within the areas of law I specialise in.
- The market demands expertise and specialisation in legal areas. In addition to legal expertise, lawyers are also expected to have a commercial understanding. New technology provides increased opportunities for streamlining legal work. At the same time, the demands of the market are becoming more stringent in terms of availability and customer management. Customers place high demands on reliability and availability. Svensson Nøkleby's company model is based on the assignment being distributed internally according to the individual and the team's specialised expertise. We are therefore well placed to meet the needs of the market, both locally and regionally.
What are your thoughts on the future?
- I'm very much looking forward to my new role as a partner at Svensson Nøkleby. In particular, I would like to emphasise that we have a very good working environment where team culture, well-being and exchange of expertise between colleagues are key.
